Watercolours for beginners

Learn the basic techniques of watercolour painting in a relaxed and sociable environment guided by an experienced art tutor.

In this hour long session you will learn and practise techniques, applying them to your choice of image: Fruit, Flowers and Fish

• What to expect:

  Grab a coffee, cake or something stronger from the gorgeous Indigo Café.
  The session will be hosted in the Café area on the ground floor which is fully accessible to all.

  An experienced local artist will guide you through the painting every step of the way teaching you colour mixing and painting techniques in Watercolour.

• Do I need any painting experience?

  There is absolutely no experience necessary for these sessions, only a willingness to have a go and enjoy the process!
  Laura will assist you in sketching your image in pencil at the start of the session.

• What should I bring?

  The cost of the session includes basic art materials:

  Pencils, Rubber, Sharpener, Watercolour paper, Brushes, Watercolour Paints

  If you have a Watercolour set you are more than welcome to bring your own.
